Setup Instructions

  1. Log in to your Time Warner account.
  2. Click the Settings tab to see the Summary of Settings screen.
  3. Select the telephone number to manage from the ‘For Phone Line’ drop-down menu.
  4. Select Call Forwarding.
  5. Scroll down to Call Forward No Answer
  6. Check the 'forward all calls to' box to enable this feature.
  7. Select the number of times you want your phone to ring before it is transferred from the ‘number of rings’ drop down box (recommended: 4 rings)
  8. Enter the call forwarding number assigned to you by Numa
  9. Click the Save button at the bottom right of the page.
  10. While still logged in to the Call Forwarding section of your Time Warner account, scroll down to Call Forward Busy
  11. Check the 'if line is busy, forward calls to' box to enable this feature.
  12. Enter the call forwarding number assigned to you by Numa
  13. Click the Save button at the bottom right of the page.

How to Confirm It's Working

Call your business's phone number from your personal phone. If nobody answers, you should hear your Numa Voicemail greeting.

Troubleshooting

Make sure you don't have an answering machine picking up your calls before they get forwarded.

If your business's phone line is part of a hunt group (multiple lines that ring until one is answered), you may need to set up forwarding on all the lines involved. Alternatively, you could remove your business phone line from the hunt group.

Contact your phone provider and have them double check that forwarding was set up properly and is active on your line.
